Description

An absolute monster full head! This incredible Gem as they say…”checks all the boxes.” The criteria for “full head” status is three fold. The bottom “line” of the helmet must be sharp and distinct…and for this Superb Gem that line is as bold as you’ll ever see. Second, there must be three complete and distinct “leaves” to the helmet. For this beauty, they are there in spades. Finally, there must be an “ear hole” on Ms. Liberty’s head. For this amazing specimen the ear hole is all there. Standing Liberty quarters are perhaps the most strike sensitive of all U.S. coins. The Mint just had a lot of trouble with striking this elaborate design. And collectors have been super focused on the strike of the best coins for decades. This is how these coins are collected. This coin has an amazing strike. Even all of the rivets on the shield are fully struck. As nice as you’ll ever see…a 20th Century condition monster!
