1850 10C MS 65
|Type:||Type 3, Stars Obverse|
|Category:||Liberty Seated Dime (1837-1891)|
One of the finest known! The pre-Civil War silver and gold coins are super rare, especially in Gem condition as paper was not trusted and silver and gold was hoarded. So mintages are low and survival rates are minuscule. The 1850 dime is no exception. In 35 years, PCGS has only graded five examples MS65, with just two graded higher. This Gem has frosty luster and mark-free surfaces. It is absolutely one of the finest known!
