Description
The Oregon Commemoratives were first struck in 1926 to commemoration of the Oregon Trail and the memory of the pioneers most of who died while making the journey. The TV series 1883 was a great showing of what life was like on this trip. The Oregon series has always been a long time favorite for most all collectors. They were struck from 1926 to 1939. The 1933-D is the second lowest mintage for the entire Oregon set. This is a wonderful set to complete, With the Indian Chief on the Obverse and the Wagon Train on the reverse. Nice white coin with just a hint of original toning.
