1868 $1, DCAM PR 66 DCAM
|Grade:||PR 66 DCAM|
Second finest known! Liberty Seated dollars are one of the all-time classics of the silver type coin market. And they are all quite rare. This was the Civil War era and there were very few collectors at the time, so few proofs were minted and fewer still were saved. For the 1868, in 34 years, PCGS has only graded this one specimen PR66 Deep Cameo, with just one example graded higher. The surfaces are very deeply mirrored and the devices are pure white Cameo. The eye appeal is absolutely stunning!
