One of the best proof $2.5 Liberties we have ever had, and the finest known of the date!!!! For this 1881, there were only 80 specimens originally minted, and an estimated 40 existing survivors today in all grades. In 38 years, PCGS has only graded this one coin PR67 Deep Cameo, and none have ever been graded higher. This is amazing looking coin…ultra deeply mirrored fields contrasting with thick white Cameo devices. This one seems to jump out of the holder. It certainly checks all the boxes…very rare…amazing condition…finest known!
