One of the finest known. The Arkansas half dollar is definitely a conditionally challenged issue. Probably because the relatively shallow design attracts marks and scratches so easily. This incredible Gem is one of only three graded MS67 by PCGS in the past 38 years. And only three have been graded higher. The surfaces are clean and mark-free…even the face. The strike is very bold. The eye appeal is enhanced with deep golden rainbow peripheral toning. The best 1936 Arkansas we have ever seen…and a great example of the big bargains in today’s commemorative market. Think about what you get for the price! Only three graded MS67 and only three graded higher…A Pop Three coin! Should really be $10,000 or $15,000.
