A pure white Gem! This is a beautiful full luster Gem. This was an era when collectors were collecting by date, not mint marks. So Branch Mint coins simply weren’t saved. In 1887 in New Orleans, they may have started playing jazz, but they weren’t saving coins for you and me. A scarce date in great condition!
