Description
A very perfect Gem…possibly the finest known! Buffalo nickels are not rare per se, but when you get to the uppermost grades, it’s another story all together. For the 1929 Philadelphia, in 34 years PCGS has only graded 14 examples MS67 when one graded higher. This virtually perfect survivor has totally mark-free surfaces. The strike is so amazingly full it looks like a matte proof. The luster is iridescent and dripping, with beautiful very light golden peripheral toning. This is the finest example we have ever seen
