1890 5C MS 67
|Type:||Type 2, With "CENTS"|
|Category:||Liberty Nickel (1883-1913)|
Near perfect Gem! Liberty nickels…1883 to 1913. One of our more famous coins. Everyone who collected coins in the 50’s and 60’s knows about them. This classic coin is (was) often found in circulation. But they’ve always been rare in Gem condition. This Superb Gem has all the bells and whistles. The surfaces are super clean and mark-free. The strike is exceptionally sharp. This is always an issue with nickel coins as nickel is the hardest metal coins are made of. The luster is iridescent and the eye appeal is spectacular. In 36 years, PCGS has only graded six examples MS67 and none have ever been graded higher.
