Description
A stunning super frosty gem! The earlier i.e. pre-1866 no motto type of liberty seated quarter is much rarer than the later with motto type. For the 1862 in almost 40 years PCGS has only graded three examples MS67, and none have been graded higher. So this jewel is obviously one of the three finest known, but it is so spectacular that we feel it is probably the finest known. It is certainly the finest we have ever seen. The surfaces are mark free and virtually perfect. The strike is 100% full in every detail. The luster is off the charts as this coin drops with super frosty, iridescent luster. A monster of a seated quarter!
