Ultra rare Cameo! The 1959 is one of the major Cameo rarities of the Franklin half dollar series. In fact, it’s the rarest Cameo Franklin of the 1954 to 1963 “late dates”. And it’s almost unknown in Deep Cameo (just 25 specimens, in all grades, in 36 years). For the 1959 Cameo, in 36 years PCGS has only graded 68 examples PR68 Cameo, and only four graded higher. If you’re working on a complete set, this deeply mirrored white Cameo is a monster coin!
