Description
Spectacular creamy Gem $10 Indian! United States coinage design reached an aesthetic high point at the start of the 20th Century and some of the most beautiful coins ever struck by any country were issued. The $10 Indian was designed by world-renown sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. They were struck between 1907 and 1933 and they are one of the most important of all United States gold type coins. $10 Indians are scarce in Gem condition and rare in Superb Gem condition. This Superb 1911 Philadelphia issue has super-clean, mark-free surfaces. The strike is fantastic with all eagle’s feathers fully evident. The original gold luster is thick and frosty, making for spectacular eye appeal.
